Japanese company MITASU OIL CORPORATION - official sponsor of RUSSIAN DRIFT SERIES

On June 29 and 30, round three of the Russian Drift Series 2013 – RDS East was held in Primorye Region. Abounding in thrilling and emotional moments for the spectators, the competition was officially sponsored by the Japanese company MITASU OIL CORPORATION.

Round three of the RDS-East Drift competition took place at the new Maritime Ring Sports Complex and attracted not only a large audience but also a record number of competitors. For the first time in the history of the RDS-East Championship as many as 28 teams from Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk and other cities in the Russian Far East competed to win the tournament, which made it possible to conduct the Top 32 pair battle. On day one of the competition, there were qualifying races and Furidashi Battle (competition for best drift entry), and on June 30 - doubles races and team classification.

The Mitasu Oil Racing Team was led by Konstantin Avsharov. Despite the fact that due to technical retirement in the first three stages in 2013 the famous Primorye drifter moved from third place in standings down to fifth, he will continue to maintain his ground and is confident he will win. He is now actively preparing to perform in stage 4, which will take place at the Maritime Ring Sports Complex on 27 - 28 July 2013. The upcoming race promises to be even more spectacular and intense.
