QR Code labels

MITASU OIL Corporation, Japan, is now introducing the increasingly popular QR Codes to their product labels. Initially, these changes will only affect the latest ready to use antifreeze products, and gradually will extend to the rest of the product line.

This innovation will enable smart-phone users with quick and effortless access to the company’s official website with a wealth of product information: recommendations for use, specifications and approvals by world car manufacturers, technical specifications, (kinematic viscosity, flash point and freezing point temperatures, TBN (total base number) etc.), benefits and distinctive features of engine and diesel oils, fluids for automatic and variable speed type transmissions, as well as all the other Mitasu products.

MITASU OIL reference point: The QR Code was invented in Japan for the Toyota Motor Corporation. Today, every second person in Japan uses QR Codes in their daily life. Most Japanese phones now come with a QR Code scanner pre-installed.
